Israel Aerospace Industries exhibition had wide varieties of products for its Homeland Security (HLS) at “Security Israel”, the 24th international homeland security exhibition which took place in Tel Aviv convention Centre on (June 29th- July 1st). This year the exhibition focused on topics such as safe city, homeland security and defence technology. These topics covered up challenges such as preventing violence, urban crime, large scale disaster management, fight against terror, city policing, defence system and many more.
Since IAI has extensive experience in projects of national and international level it can well understand the requirements of the current time. Products like Unified Information Centre (UIC) and Routine Emergency Management Operational System (REMOS) are wildly acknowledged around the world. These systems allow the transfer of data in real time, thus acting as a catalyst that ensures rapid solutions for effective management of complex events in a dense dynamic environment.
The following systems were put on exhibition:
EL/S 8994, Real Time Intelligence Centre: It collects and organizes multi-layered image. It uses sensors such as, electro –optic, infrared and Synthetic aperture radar (SAR). When it collects the whole data it places it on a geographical map and allows its targets to be located by using advanced technologies and computerized tools. The intelligence reports produced by the system are sent to the decision makers in the field or at the headquarters.
Multi–Sensor Intelligence and Surveillance System (MSISS): This is used to create a ground battlefield picture so that the commanders can get a rough idea as to what is happening at the place. The information is collected by using variety of sensors, motion detection radars, day/night ground electro –optic observation systems, aerostats and unmanned aerial vehicles for intelligence.
Combo Pole (EL/I3385): It is a static ground observation system which prime aim is to protect the facilities. The system uses remote control sensors, short and medium range motion detection radar, electro-optic observation systems for night vision, video cameras and communication system. Data which is gathered by the system is send to the command and control station. The system helps in locating threats in the field, informs laws enforcement officials and ensures neutralization of threat.
