Vulnerability Assessment

One of the biggest problems currently facing Homeland Security planners and leaders is allocating and prioritizing limited resources. Using the Six Sigma quantitative approach, Honeywell has developed a rigorous method for identifying and prioritizing critical infrastructure vulnerabilities. This vulnerability assessment technology:

• Uses the perspective of the attacker, not the infrastructure owner or the solution seller.
• Incorporates the attacker's intentions and logistics concerns to better assess the attractiveness of an attack.
• Rigorously combines different opinions of multiple experts concerning the attacker's motivations, enabling disparate information to be factored into the decision process.
